Jamie Kermond was the last rider on course, knowing if he jumped clear he was the winner, but the four faulters had fast times and he needed to be quick in case a rail fell. The pressure made no difference to his precision and Lamaz left them all up in a time of 70.80 seconds giving him his second grand prix win in as many weeks.
